Holy S*#! Batman! Troy already looks like a superhero!
The man is that quiet ball of fury. Unassuming and quiet but in that amazing soul of a man is an animal! Look out Wisconsin the other Wieck is bringing game!
    Have fun! :)

    That’s gorgeous :)
Part of the reason I don’t want to do an Ironman though. Leave them to the boy. I’ll stick with 70.3 and 5150.

That is so cool! Funny in that my husband just said the other day that he’s thinking of doing a sprint tri this fall. I’ll be interested to learn how you guys juggle the family duties and everything. I can’t quite imagine two in the same household training for IM. Better up your grocery budget. ;)

  8. so awesome in so many ways :) Notice he has those LG’s on, ha!!
I can move to CO and play with Annie while you guys train and race…

That is one big reason I am happy hubbs has no interest in tri’s…no fighting over training time!

My husband signed up for Ironman Wisconsin 2011 not only having not ever done a triathlon before, but without knowing how to swim!! He went to Madison in 2010, volunteered at IM, signed up the next day, and two days later he and I were at the local YMCA at the adult swim class! He could not swim 25 yards. With a lot of pool time over the next year, I’m pleased to report he successfully completed the IM! It’s amazing what can be accomplished when you put your mind to things.

I also could not swim but I was more conservative in my approach; I did sprint tris in 2011 and am now ready to tackle the Olympic distance. I was in full-on support mode last year!

We will be at IM Madison this year; I’m pretty sure David plans to sign up for his second IM.
