I ran in high school and two years of college until I couldn't handle the pressure and turned my thoughts to rock climbing. I've always been pretty much a Tom Boy and athletic, even heavy. When I was heavy and I first started running again a year after having Annie and I hadn't run since college. That first 5K I ran in November 2006 was in 26:50 and hurt worse than any 5K I have ever run since. But, as I lost the weight, my times came down quickly. With Biking...I never road biked before April 2007, so everything there is just ability, but I have put in a lot of hard work over the last year since I hired my coach. :) So was I always that fast? It is actually one of my favorite times to be there. Its sunny and warm, but not too hot, it doesn't rain much and the days are just gorgeous.
