    AWESOME post, Sonja! Love the tips. We have discussed a lot of this already, but I love the visuals.

    Is the fridge/freezer always so nicely organized like that, or did you clean them to get them “camera ready”?

    OMG love this!! I want to add! I keep swim workouts baggie in my swim bag. It has my most recent 20-30 workouts written out in permanent marker on small squares of manila folders. So when I get my weekly schedule, if there is a new swim workout, I write it out and put it into the baggie. If the weekly schedule has a repeat swim workout, I can just pull it from the baggie and put it on top. Boom.

    And as a caveat to RULE #1 (I am still learning here)…if you are the type of person who likes saying yes a lot (like me), just plan to say yes in the off-season. Then during crunch time you won’t feel guilty for saying no.

    Jen, I think that she had to get them camera ready—I don’t remember the fridge being THAT organized when I was there last weekend….BUT then again I didn’t really open the fridge much and Dad is saying that it was organized last weekend—-so I think she didn’t have to clean for the camera!

    Sonja—LUV U—these are great tips! Once again Annie and I are in sync, I have had congestion all week and a touch of a sore throat.

    What a great list. I find I have the hardest time saying no but I am working on it!! Two swims a day = very hard core. I don’t think I could deal with the chlorine!

    This is AMAZING. I posted my TP schedule for the week on the fridge, ordered some stuff to start my “tri shop”, and am just starting to plan how I’ll organize my tri clothes. (Yes, it’s currently in the useless, falling-over folded piles you talk about. Definitely doesn’t work, I agree.)

    I’m actually tapering for my last tri of the season, but I want to start the good habits now BEFORE next year’s IM crunch time.

    THis is fantastic and I am totally motivated to bring some greater organization to my house! Bins here I come!!

    The other thing I will add (or really just expand upon) is that I schedule in my workouts in my calendar each week. Just like an appointment, they are fairly non-negotiable. I also plan a weekly menu and that makes dinner time much easier for me, as I do all the cooking. I only have to think about it once a week, and when I’m busy, the decision (as well as all the ingredients) are there for me!

    Sonja — Thanks to your tip, we’re on week 2 of Door to Door deliveries now and I LOVE it — that box on the doorstep is like a big Monday present! I thought the service sounded cool when you covered it awhile back, but would never have thought to look them up again if you hadn’t mentioned that they’re now set up for deliveries here in cowtown KC. I hope they’re sponsoring you (and if I keep gushing, maybe they ought to sponsor me!) ;)
