I stole this idea from Erin at Just Run With It. Every year after her birthday she posts a list of things she wants to do before her next birthday. I have followed her blog for several years and I always love seeing the lists and then seeing what she gets done, what doesn’t get done, and how much fun she has along the way. So, I’m stealing it this birth-year. Next year is the big 33…an AWESOME YEAR because it’s 3×11..and 11 is a wicked rad prime.

Whew, I’m getting old, that’s a lot of things! Should be oodles of fun.

You’ll have to come do Eagleman 70.3 for #3!! You bike through the refuge. Beautiful!
Best risotto recipe with good commentary on what to buy/how to actually make the risotto good: http://www.nomeatathlete.com/fall-risotto/. I make it all the time; in fact, I just bought the ingredients to do so this week.
I’ll help with #14 and 26. Ben can help with 15 and 17. I’m in for 18 and 24, if you’ll have me. I’m in for 21 too, never done one. For 22, check out Reading Reflex by Carmen McGuiness. I’ve done just a little with Tana and it has made a big difference. Awesome list and I think they can all be accomplished by someone as dedicated as you.
Oooohhhhh!!! I likey this list!! I shall help you get to #2, participate in #3, 18 and 21, go for #6, and cheer you on #12 & 16:)
What a fun idea! I may have to steal the idea too this summer for my birthday! I think you have a great list!
Let me know if you want company for 18, 21, 24 or 29. Fun list! Can’t wait to see how many are knocked out by next year.
We took Makenzie kayaking for the first time in Florida this year. We were surrounded by dolphins and manatees! Take her with you on this one! Funny about the real camera, we always use the iPhone too. Painting, yes, we need to paint in our new place too……Good luck down in Cozumel! Renee, Dave and Makenzie.
Great list!
As Hill pointed out – we’d be happy to help you with any of it. I’ll be gluing ~3 more sets of tubulars in the next couple weeks (as soon as I get the wheels built) and would be happy to give you some tips etc.
For #7 – I know we plan on going a good bit next year and loved having Annie and Troy along this year; I can think of a few areas that would provide good runs and/or bikes from too.
#15 can be almost a religion as there are many different opinions on it; I’d be happy to tell you what I know and understand and find out what else you’ve learned on it.
For #28 – I know a cool spot in Spain to go…
#2, #18! Let’s do ‘em!!! And as for #33, if you need any advice just let me know! I love my DSLR and I just helped a friend purchase her first DSLR as well
Thanks for the shout out, Sonja! I love your blog/lifestyle/badassness in general and I’m flattered that you read mine!
#12! oops! I meant #12! not #2 (haha, oh goodness I could never do that..)
I swear I didn’t read your post first, but I’m doing something similar. I’m calling it my Year of Awesome. Check it out!
