I entered the Leadville 100 MTB lottery this year and I have a quote from Ken Chlouber “You are better than you think you are and you can do more than you think you can” everyplace. Bathroom mirror, in front of my treadmill, on top of the TV for my bike trainer and stuck on the dash of my car, and so on. If I don’t get picked I will be disappointed big time!

I noticed “Vegas” in there. Are you hitting the 70.3 championships this year? I love this idea! Unfortunately I don’t have enough magazines to do it. And Freak of Nature…WOW! Was just looking at it today. Good thing it doesn’t come in an XS or else I’d be tempted to own a wetsuit that costs almost as much as my tri bike! Can’t believe you’re going to get one!

Hm. I had never really thought about the whole word to symbolise a year. But I knew mine as soon as I read your blog. I may just take this idea and write about it on my site. Thanks as always for the inspiration you give through the you you share!

Awesome! The thing I love about looking at other people’s vision boards is that you learn so much about what makes them tick! Thanks for sharing!!

Over the past week or so, I have been thinking about making one of these. I feel like we have so much going on and a vision board we be a good reminder of the positive things we have in our life and the positive things we can achieve if we just take things day by day.

I saw it … did anyone else see it? Two little words in one of the close ups.. if you didn’t see it.. go back!!! See it now!

Son … just wanted you to know I saw IT!

Love my vision boards.. this years needs a little modification before it goes ‘live’…

2005 I put two babies on mine.. not meaning I wanted 2 per se, but to say I didn’t care which gender.. I got two .. each gender.. and I’ll be damned if they don’t closely resemble the babies on the board!!!

    go get it girl!

    HAHAHA Laura,
I totally know what you are referring to….it’s the “BE PRO” isn’t it?

Actually, that’s a term that Chuckie coined for us over the years. “Be Pro” means act like the pros act, do your work, don’t complain, be professional, put your training first, act like your living depends on it. It’s a little mantra that I use a lot when I think about how I am conducting myself in sport. I’m still quite firm in the fact that I’m not out for a PRO card.

Sonja – Fun idea. Snag those visions! That girl in the middle is my friend Adriana Nelson. She’s a great marathon runner from Fort Collins.

If you want to get a training run in with her I could hook you up. She’s fast!

Maybe Carly and I will bump into you at Red Hot. Hope 2012 is off to a great start!

    Act!

Yippee! That looks like it was fun! I’ve been coming back to one word over and over again as I think about this year too! mine is PATIENCE.

I haven’t done a vision board yet but I am very close to completing one. My word for the year is “Believe!” I must believe in me and my abilities so this year I am going to show myself that I am a good person.
